Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Mountain Ridge Marketing collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

1. Who we are

Mountain Ridge Marketing

1646 W Hwy 160 Suite 590

Fort Mill, SC 29708

[email protected]

Mountain Ridge Marketing is a marketing agency serving real estate professionals and other small businesses. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers, and what it does not

It covers personal information about you when you visit our website, buy or use LeadConnector or EZ-Postr, contact us, or join our affiliate program.

It does not cover the contacts inside a client's own account. Our clients use LeadConnector to manage their own leads and customers. That contact data belongs to the client, and the client decides what is collected and how it is used. Mountain Ridge Marketing handles it only on the client's instructions in order to provide the service.

If you are a homebuyer, seller, or other contact in a business's LeadConnector account and you want your information corrected or deleted, contact that business directly. Contact data ownership is addressed in our Terms and Conditions.

3. What we collect

When you visit the website

  • Usage and device information such as pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and timestamps.
  • Anything you type into the chat widget, including a draft you begin but do not send, which is stored in your own browser so the widget can restore it.

When you contact us or submit a form

  • Name, email address, phone number, business name, and whatever else you choose to put in the message.
  • For a money-back guarantee claim, the information requested on the claim form, including your signed certification.

When you buy from us

  • Billing name, billing address, email address, and purchase history.
  • We do not receive or store your full card number. Card details go directly to our payment processor.
  • Account and usage records for the service you subscribe to, including your account's usage balance and charges.

When you join the affiliate program

  • Name, email address, and payout details such as your PayPal address or bank transfer information.
  • Referral and commission records, including which sign-ups are attributed to you.
  • Tax information where we are required to collect it before issuing payment.

4. Cookies and browser storage

Our website uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage entries, all set by HighLevel, the platform the site runs on. They are used to keep your session working and to recognize a returning visitor. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking or profiling tools on this website.

Local storage entries stay in your browser until you clear your browsing data. You can delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings. Blocking them may stop the chat widget and some forms from working.

Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts and some images are served by our platform's content delivery network. Loading them involves your browser making a request to those providers, which receives your IP address as part of any normal web request.

5. How we use your information

  • To provide, set up, and support the products you have purchased.
  • To process payments, issue invoices, and pass through usage charges.
  • To respond to enquiries, support requests, and guarantee claims.
  • To verify eligibility for the LeadConnector Money Back Guarantee against your own account records.
  • To track affiliate referrals and calculate and pay commissions.
  • To send service and account messages, and marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  • To keep the website secure and working, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with the providers that make our business run, and only so far as they need it:

ProviderWhat it doesWhat it receives
HighLevelThe platform hosting our website, CRM, forms, email, and coursesWebsite usage data, form submissions, contact and account records, communications
StripeSubscription billing and payment processingBilling name and address, email, payment details, purchase history
PayPalAffiliate commission payoutsAffiliate name, email or PayPal address, payout amounts

Where an affiliate is paid by bank transfer instead of PayPal, the bank details are handled by our bank.

We may also disclose personal information where we are legally required to, where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim, or to a buyer or successor if the business is sold, in which case this policy continues to apply until it is replaced.

7. How long we keep it

  • Customer and billing records: for the life of the account and then as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
  • Guarantee claims: for the claim period and any dispute that follows.
  • Affiliate records: for the life of the affiliate relationship and then as long as required for tax purposes.
  • Enquiries and support messages: for as long as needed to handle the matter and keep a record of it.
  • Website usage data: retained by our platform on a rolling basis.

When an account ends, contact-data export is handled as described in our Terms and Conditions.

8. How we protect it

We use access controls, encrypted connections, and reputable vendors, and we limit who inside the business can reach personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account credentials have been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law.
  • Obtain a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising and profiling. We do none of these, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

These rights are established for residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and a growing number of other states. We extend them to every customer and visitor regardless of where you live, because drawing the line by state would be worse than simply honoring the request.

How to exercise them

Email [email protected] and tell us what you want. We will confirm your identity, usually by verifying you control the email address on the account, and respond within 45 days. If we need longer we will tell you why. There is no charge. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.

If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to that response. If your appeal is denied you may complain to your state attorney general.

10. Marketing email

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect for marketing messages without affecting service and account messages about something you are paying for. You can also ask us to remove you by email.

11. Children

Our products are sold to businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Visitors outside the United States

Mountain Ridge Marketing operates in the United States and our services are directed to customers in the United States. If you access this website from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date below tells you when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will make that clear on this page and, where appropriate, notify customers directly.

14. Contact

Questions about this policy, or about your personal information, go to [email protected], or write to the address at the top of this page.
